Save Power with Your Lights ON 25% to 30% power saving on large fluorescent installations Will also save energy on High-Bay lighting.
The Power Saver voltage reduction energy efficiency technology was designed in Melbourne for large numbers of fluorescent lighting with magnetic or iron core or magnetic (non-electronic) ballasts. It will deliver power savings of around 25% to 30% of the power used by your fluorescent lighting with only minimal light loss of around 8% or less. Used in properties with a minimum of a hundred fluorescent tubes from the same switchboard, Powersaver will fit neatly away by the board and works to automatically optimise the power consumption of massed fluorescent tubes to deliver you significant power savings and a lower environmental impact.
Energy savings and payback periods will vary depending upon hours of operation, number of lamps, the cost of electricity at your property and tariffs used. Powersaver can pay for itself in as little as a year and a half where lights are used extensively. The units can be installed by any electrician and takes about four hours with lights off for around fifteen minutes.

- Ene-7 Peak energy demand reduction (Metric totals 4 points)
Contact us for a savings estimate
Contact us for an accurate estimate of the power and money that you will save with Power Saver. To calculate your savings we will need information on;
- How many lights of what wattage
- The hours of use (including out of hours)
- What you are paying for power
- If the area is airconditioned
HID Model now available
Power Saver voltage reduction can be made to order for HID lighting such as Metal Halide, Mercury Vapour and High Pressure Sodium discharge lamps. Power savings and light dimming scenarios are very different to those of fluorescent lighting but if your application is overlit, dimming the HID lamps will save power, money and the environment. Contact us for more specifics on HID lighting applications.
